GENDER BASED VIOLENCE

I know I have told the story about our encouragement sessions with the children of the Academy in Zambia, but I wanted to share just a little more with you. We spoke a lot about gender based violence with both the boys and the girls which is an important topic especially in Zambia right now. Joseph Pupe currently has an album out full of songs tackling hot topic issues. It's wonderful music with an awesome message.

He was filming the music video while we were in Zambia this year. My little Madison was able to be a part of it. She's the cutie in the blue dress. I'm pretty proud of Maddie for taking part of it, and seriously proud of Joseph for tackling this issue! Please take a moment to watch this video, I promise you will be blessed.

I'm very proud of Uncle Joseph, and love seeing other familiar faces in the video. My babies at school listen to this music and love it. They don't understand the words (they're just 3 and 4 years old) but when adults come into the room, Ambuya is quick to tell them who it is and what it's about! Thanks, Joseph!
